Community Gardens for Congregations Workshop, March 3rd, Feed the Hungry, Care for Creation, Build Community
Join other congregations on Saturday, March 3rd from 9am-12pm for the Community Garden for Congregations workshop at Tualatin United Methodist Church, 20200 SW Martinazzi Ave in Tualatin. Come learn what it takes to create a community garden that will bring new life to your congregation, build connections with your community, reduce hunger and care for God's creation. Speakers include Leslie Pohl-Kosbau of Shared Gardens and former director of Portland Community Gardens and local natural resource agencies. Hear created gardens about the successes, challenges, partnering with other organizations and ensuring sustainability over the long-term from congregations that are supporting community gardens. Reedville Community Garden
